Before you begin
- An active Event Stream account with access to the area described in this guide.
Recommended practices
- Send users the organization-specific sign-in link.
- Distribute temporary credentials individually through an approved channel.
- Change temporary passwords immediately.
- Use unique passwords and do not share accounts.
- Sign out on shared devices.
- Deactivate accounts that should no longer have access.
- Limit administrative roles to people who need them.
When access is suspicious
Change the password, sign out, and contact an Organization Administrator. Administrators should review account status, role, assignments, and recent viewer sessions.
Expected result
Users follow a clear, non-technical process for protecting their Event Stream account.
