Before you begin
- An active Event Stream account with access to the area described in this guide.
Assign the audience
- 1Open the event detail page.
- 2Open Audience assignment.
- 3Use Users to search and assign individual viewers.
- 4Use Groups to search and assign reusable groups.
- 5Review the assigned user and group counts.
What assignment does
A direct assignment or membership in an assigned group makes a viewer eligible to discover the event. It does not bypass registration, status, schedule, replay, subscription, device, or concurrent-session rules.
Note: Assigning the same viewer directly and through a group does not create duplicate access.
Expected result
Only intended users can discover the event, subject to the remaining access rules.
