Before you begin
- An active Event Stream account with access to the area described in this guide.
Supported image types
- Banner: wide event header image.
- Thumbnail: compact event card image.
- Speaker: speaker or presenter image.
- Gallery: supporting event image.
Add an image
- 1Open the event detail page.
- 2Open Event Assets.
- 3Upload a supported image or add an existing image URL when that option is available.
- 4Choose the asset type, add useful alternative text, and set its order.
- 5Save and confirm the image appears in the event or central Assets library.
Asset rules
Event assets are images only. Video files and documents are not uploaded to the asset library. Deleting an asset is a soft delete: it no longer appears in the library or event displays, while external file cleanup may occur separately.
Important: Use alternative text that describes the image purpose rather than repeating the event title.
Expected result
The event uses correctly sized, non-stretched images with meaningful metadata.
