Before you begin
- An active Event Stream account with access to the area described in this guide.
Status meanings
- Draft: preparation only; viewers cannot watch.
- Scheduled: listed for eligible viewers but not watchable before the start time.
- Live: watchable within the configured schedule when all other access checks pass.
- Completed: watchable only when a recording is marked available and replay access is permitted.
- Cancelled: not watchable.
- Archived: retained for history and watchable only as an available replay when permitted.
Status and schedule work together
A live status does not override a future start time or an ended viewing window. A scheduled event is not watchable before its start. After the end time, only an allowed recording can be watched.
Expected result
Administrators choose the status that matches the event stage and viewers see the correct action or explanation.
