Before you begin
- An active Event Stream account with access to the area described in this guide.
Visibility rules
- Organization announcements are available to active organization members.
- Event announcements require direct or group assignment to the related event.
- Only published, non-deleted announcements inside their publish and expiry window are shown.
- The viewer home widget can be disabled in organization settings without removing the full Announcements page when the feature remains available.
Read performance
Opening announcement detail records one read per viewer. The admin detail page compares total eligible viewers with unique reads and shows a read percentage. This is communication engagement, not proof of attendance.
Expected result
Viewers receive relevant updates and administrators can interpret read counts correctly.
