Before you begin
- An active Event Stream account with access to the area described in this guide.
Edit safely
- 1Open Events and select the event.
- 2Choose Edit and open the relevant tab.
- 3Review dependent settings before changing dates, registration, replay, or session policy.
- 4Save and return to the event detail page.
- 5Test viewer access after changes that affect schedule, stream, registration, or replay.
How changes affect viewers
- Date changes alter the viewing window and can invalidate a later registration deadline.
- Turning registration off clears the registration deadline and capacity on save.
- Changing the stream source affects playback for all eligible viewers.
- Assignment changes affect who can discover and open the event.
- A completed or archived event needs replay availability before it can be watched again.
Expected result
The event reflects the new settings and eligible viewers receive the intended access experience.
