Event access settings
Override organization device and session defaults for one event.
Last updated July 20, 2026
Before you begin
- An active Event Stream account with access to the area described in this guide.
Organization defaults
Leaving Single device only or Concurrent session limit empty makes the event use organization defaults. The event editor shows the current resolved default before you save.
Set an override
- 1Open the event editor and choose Session controls.
- 2Choose Enabled or Disabled for Single device only, or keep the organization default.
- 3Enter a concurrent-session limit greater than zero, or leave it empty for the default.
- 4Save and test with the intended viewer account.
How limits combine
Single device only effectively limits the viewer to one active session. If it is enabled with a higher concurrent limit, Event Stream normalizes the effective limit to one.
Note: The organization-wide concurrent-viewer plan limit is separate from each viewer's event session limit.
Expected result
The event enforces the intended per-viewer device and session policy.
