Before you begin
- An active Event Stream account with access to the area described in this guide.
Complete the setup
- 1Review organization settings and the shared sign-in link.
- 2Configure organization branding if your plan includes it.
- 3Create viewers or reusable groups.
- 4Create the event and confirm its timezone and schedule.
- 5Save the event, then add and test the external stream source.
- 6Configure registration, deadline, capacity, and waitlist behaviour.
- 7Set device and concurrent-session rules or keep organization defaults.
- 8Assign individual viewers and groups.
- 9Test the organization sign-in and viewer access with a non-admin account.
- 10Set the correct scheduled or live status when ready.
- 11After the event, make a replay available if permitted and review analytics.
Test before sharing
- Confirm an assigned viewer can discover the event.
- Confirm an unassigned viewer cannot open it.
- Confirm registration and deadline messaging.
- Confirm playback in the browsers your audience uses.
- Confirm announcements and replay settings if used.
Expected result
The event is discoverable only by the intended audience and playback begins only when all access rules pass.
