Before you begin
- An active Event Stream account with access to the area described in this guide.
Create the event
- 1Open Events and select Create Event.
- 2In Basic information, enter the title, readable slug, description, optional category, banner URL, and tags.
- 3In Schedule, choose status, timezone, start time, and end time.
- 4In Access, choose whether registration is required and optionally set a deadline and capacity.
- 5In Streaming, decide whether replay is available and optionally schedule replay availability.
- 6In Session controls, keep organization defaults or set event-specific device and concurrent-session values.
- 7Review the tabs and save.
Complete event details
- Connect the primary external stream source.
- Add image assets.
- Assign viewers and groups.
- Review registrations and export when needed.
Important: Creating an event does not automatically make it visible or watchable. Assignment, status, schedule, registration, stream, and access rules still apply.
